The Cat Cafe, a cat cafe in San Diego
The Cat Cafe in San Diego has cats from local animal shelters available for adoption. The cafe provides high quality coffee and espresso from West Coast Roasters and Cafe Virtuoso. Your entrance fee is paid with $5, or the purchase of a beverage and/or snack. The Cat Cafe is very strict on the number of patrons that are admitted. Fifteen minutes after maximum capacity has been reached, all patrons will be asked to leave the cafe. The cats will get five minutes to relax without visitors, until the next group of patrons come in. No reservations are needed at The Cat Cafe, but if you wish to create a furrever home for one of the felines an adoption appointment will be needed.
The San Diego Cat Cafe owner, Tony Wang who has a degree in business, used to work for Tiffany & Co. for eight years before starting his dream company- a cat cafe. Local shelters have donated the cats and “cat owning supplies.” Wong is hoping to turn his company into a profit from food sales and to find furrever homes for San Diego’s finest felines. See Wong’s Shark Tank Audition below. Check out the Cat Cafe in San Diego!
